Day Tripping
Sunday was a full day. Having been up (very) late for the past two nights and still very much under the influence of a cold, the girls and I left early in the morning. We caught a train to Padrón where our friend Rocío and her sister met us at the train station. From there we drove to an open market. I think the girls were more interested in shopping, but I tagged along for the photo opportunity. I am so glad that I dragged myself out of my warm bed, because I managed to get some good photos. It was a good addition to my project. Afterwards, Rocío and Marí tooks us to their home town and the surrounding area. We stopped at a public park and walked around the ruins of an old fortress built to protect the area from the Vikings.
Back home in Santiago, we spent the evening over dinner with some friends of ours that run a local cafe. It was a good time of fellowship and an excuse for pizza.
Having exhausted myself, I decided to head to bed early, at about 1AM. :)

You're welcome to come back whenever you feel like! Rocío.
